Bharatanatyam Classes
Bharatanatyam is a classical dance style originated many centuries ago in the temples of Tamil Nadu in South India. NKM Arts offers a training curriculum designed to closely echo the traditional teaching, while integrating the needs and experiences of present-day students, here in Canada.
Bollywood & Folk Fusion Classes
In addition to Bharatanatyam classes, NKM Arts offers Bollywood & Folk Fusion workshops to teach the students the traditional and cultural dance forms.
Our Past Events
2023 Rangoli Competition
NKM Arts held a Rangoli Competition for kids and adults as part of our on-going Diwali Celebrations for the 2023 year. Our participants let their creativity shine through creating colourful and detailed rangolis with lots of snacks, music, and fun! The most creative rangolis were awarded first, second, and third place prizes.
2023 Kids Diwali Party
NKM Arts hosted a Diwali Party for young kids aged between 5-9 years old. The aim of the event was to teach the younger generation about the importance of Diwali and why we celebrate the five-day festival. Our attendees participated in numerous educational and festive activities, such as making rangolis, painting diyas, reading cultural stories, and more!
